moonshadow alpacas

Well where do i begin, my name is Gabrielle (Gabby) and me and my mum Juanita have been in the alpaca industry seance 1998 and started of with only 2 weathers and now we have about 25 give or take. Before alpacas i bred mini horses and welsh ponies, show budgies, Malawi cichlids, canaries and rabbets. I really did  like to dabble in colour genetics and the power of the dominate and recessive gens.

I learnt to spin with raw sheep’s wool (what a mission) then i got a angora goat and had a go at, still got half of his fleece some where i think. Then we some alpacas and I’ve never looked back, i did try to teach mum to spin but yer that wasn’t a good look. So i spin and knit and she knits and crochets, we do the medieval fair at bribie once a year and the maleny markets once a month selling alpaca garments , yarns, fleeces and other arty stuff.
